Classic rich Yarra Valley Pinot Noir with dark black cherries and a touch of redcurrants, supported by a slightly herbal edge under a cedar oak framework. Robust warm palate with dry, fine yet slightly chewy tannins. Herbs, cedar oak and sour cherry flavours. This wine shows the meatier side of Pinot that will go well with dishes such as pan fried veal or offal. Not surprisingly it is fully destemmed, hand plunged and spends 18 months in barrel of which 35% is new oak.
