Pungent leafy, herbal and cedar notes with redcurrant, cranberries and a hints of pencil shavings. Silky front palate with licorice, ripe, slightly raisined, red fruits. Smooth velvet tannins travel on through a long herbal finish. More Bordeaux that Rhone in character. Enjoyable ride.
