Whilst in its infancy the wine is redolent of blackcurrants, blackberries and mint. Palate is so smooth and of course full bodied with restrained sweetness. Mouth filling flavours of fruit crumble, raisins and blackcurrant preserve. Drink now but really you should wait and cellar for at least 15 years. Classic Portuguese grape blend of Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Cāo as well as Grand Noir, Durif and Souzāo from a top producer of fortified wines. Half bottles for $26 makes this such a tempting purchase.

Highly Recommended (Score range 92-94)
A quality focused wine that has plenty of style. Length of palate and intensity are often key characteristics of highly recommended wines. These producers could be the ones to watch in the future.
