Darker wild ferment red fruit aromas of plums and blueberries, supported by hints of cedar oak. Supple, silky textured wine with fine velvet, powdery tannins producing a long finish. Excellent Pinot well priced for the quality. Four clones D5V12, D4V2, 115 and MV6. 90% destemmed with 10% whole bunch (semi carbonic maceration), then cold soaked for 4-5 days. Wild fermentation in open vats, four weeks on skins. Pumped over. Pressed at dryness to French barriques (20% new, 80% older) for 12 months maturation.
