Innocent Bystander Tempranillo 2021, King Valley, Vic

All fruit driven nose with strong black cherries, raspberries and cola. This fruit dominance continues on the palate. Dry, medium bodied with no noticeable tannins. The finish is slightly warm but overall an easy drinking wine.

Spot on primary Tempranillo fruit aromas of redcurrant, raspberries and cola that are fairly pungent. Dry but with sweet raspberry flavours in what is a primary fruit driven Joven style wine. Medium bodied with sandpaper like gentle tannins on the finish.

Grown in the Vine Vale sub region of the Barossa t Grown in the Vine Vale sub region of the Barossa these 1896 vines, grown on alluvial granitic sandy soil, have produced a wine full of blueberries, black cherries, vanilla with a touch of graphite. Full bodied, yet restrained, the smooth seamless palate is primary fruit driven. Vine vale is more renowned for Grenache but when Shiraz takes the stage it’s elegant and refined. Well done Brett Grocke @eperosawine Rating is outstanding in the 7th edition Australian Wine Guide #barossavalley #barossawine #shiraz #southaustralia
