Shows some restrained aged qualities on the nose such as wet earth and tobacco. Dry, medium bodied with savoury and spice driven flavours on palate. Finishes is long with fine, dry fine-grained tannins. 10 year old Sangiovese are not often on the market!

Juicy cherry and sweet cooking spice nose. Jubey palate, all primary (raspberries, cherry, vanilla) but nice depth. Entry level Sangiovese.

Hint of cedar oak, herbs, new leather, pencil shavings and a touch of medicinal aromas. Sweet cherry fruits come in on the dry, medium bodied palate with a smooth but slightly warm tannic finish.

Juicy bright cherry driven red with noticeable, powdery, fine tannins and ripe plum driven fruit on the palate. Overall an elegant medium bodied wine that has sufficient weight and complexity to be a reserve style wine. Good stuff, sourced from Balgownie vineyard...

Yum, lovely spice driven nose with maraschino cherry hints. Smooth elegant palate. Medium bodied with cedar oak coming into the mix of spice and cherries. Textured dry tannic finish. Serious wine as well as good representative of the variety.
