Classic old Bordeaux blend and what the Yarra Valley does best. Varietally driven nose of blackberry, black cherry with supporting autumnal leaf, earth and cedar oak. Medium bodied wine in which the floral and slightly herbal edge of Cabernet Franc seems to dominant. Merlot produces the middle palate fruit weight. Well balanced and elegant with noticeable acidity giving the wine life and lift. 55% Cabernet Sauvignon 13% Cabernet France, 13% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot and 9% Malbec
