A cabernet sauvignon (86%), merlot (8%), malbec (6%) blend. Pungent nose full of blackberries, cedar, smoke and a strong herbal varietal cabernet edge. Dry, full bodied robust wine with medium grainy tannins. Medicinal, herbal flavours with accompanying dark cherries and chocolate. This is a youthful wine that needs further bottle age. It’s a great example of a Bordeaux blend grown in the maritime climate of Margaret River experiencing La Nina conditions.
