Subtle spice driven nose, but as it aerates it grows into a complex wine. White pepper, mulberries, plums, vanilla and cherry notes appear. A firm but round, dry medium bodied wine with more cooking spices on the palate. Medium finish. Classic varietal wine showing its maritime climate. ‘Syrah’, as a varietal label, is growing into a trend to indicate a medium bodied spice and pepper style of Shiraz.
