Wet leaf, cedar and hints of blackberry, but a slightly closed nose. Lovely smooth, elegant palate. Classic blackcurrant as well as black cherry flavours. Lively acidity indicates its cooler maritime origins. Dry, grainy, fine sandpaper tannins accompany the medium plus finish. Solid, benchmark wine.
