Strongly floral and spice driven nose with lovely five spice and nutmeg. Blueberry and black cherry takes over on the palate with fine elegant dry tannins. Medium bodied as the Hunter should be finishing with a warm satisfying finish. Andrew Thomas makes regionally identified wines, this one is grown in the Belford sub region on red ironstone soils.
