French barrique fermented wine, aged on lees for 7 months. The wine has heightened pear and apple skin with a slight savoury pithy edge. Some varietally correct malic acid tartness on the palate as well as a creamy lees driven note. This results in a nicely textured palate with a touch of residual sweetness and a long finish. Good chenin blancs are hard to find in Australia and this one is a good example.
