Elegant, complex nose with lemons, a touch of stone fruits wrapped around a core of toasty new oak and hints of struck match. Dry, lemony fresh acidity with nutty, oatmeal flavours. Medium bodied at the most, signalling it’s cool climate origins. Lovely well balanced wine that will improve with cellaring, if you can wait. Released next month.
