Karl Stockhausen Shiraz 2011

by | Dec 31, 2015

Although turning 80 soon legendary Hunter winemaker Karl Stockhausen is still consulted on the make up of this wine. Powerful red fruits with plum and redcurrants to the fore. Some well handled new oak. Dry lifted fruit as well as spice and savoury notes. Medium tannins, well balanced with some astutely handled but noticeable tannins adding structure. Well priced.
