Hanging Rock

Hanging Rock Jim Jim Chardonnay 2020, Macedon Ranges, Vic

by | Mar 28, 2022

Expressive nose which is primary fruit driven showing classic peach and melon. There is a nice underlay of struck match to add complexity. Dry, medium bodied palate with plenty of cool climate Macedon acidity, but also some MLF creaminess and nuts. This is a unique wine as the grapes used are 3 different Mumm Champagne clones that John Ellis got direct from France.
