Giant Steps Harry’s Monster Sexton Vineyard 2019, Yarra Valley, Vic

by | Apr 11, 2022

Attractive, pungent blackberry, liqueur black cherry and cedar oak nose. Full bodied, firm, well structured wine that is already in balance in its youth allowing an opportunity to drink now or cellar. Black cherries, cedar and a touch of licorice head the flavours on the palate. The wine has a pleasing long finish. Accomplished wine from a winery that is performing exceedingly well. 59% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Petit Verdot.

Highly Recommended (Score range 92-94)

A quality focused wine that has plenty of style. Length of palate and intensity are often key characteristics of highly recommended wines. These producers could be the ones to watch in the future.
