Plenty of action on both the nose and palate. This wine see both French and American hogsheads for 24 months and 15 days of skin contact. Nose ranges from prune to blackberry, earth to new leather, charcuterie with a touch of struck match. Rich black fruit driven plate that is full bodied and seamless with well integrated tannins. Intense warm finish and a touch aldehydic. A wine which can be enjoyed now or built to age.
