The appearance is an inviting brown but bright colour with a teal meniscus. Complex palate with barrel-driven cedar and strong cold tea flavours, on first tasting the wine. It develops into a lovely savoury mid-palate with malt, Christmas pudding, preserved fruits, honey, treacle and maple syrup. Yum. Full throttle, intense and rich with a long, long finish. Superb wine.
