A classic Bordeaux blend of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet Franc, merlot and petit verdot. Produced from a patch of dirt in the Concongella vineyard that has more gravel that the rest of the vineyard. Ripe fruit on the nose with blackberry to the fore, backed up by cedar and cinnamon spice. More ripe black fruit on the palate, this time black cherries. Full bodied, dry, well balanced palate with some elegance. Long satisfying finish. Plenty to like about this wine. Well handled alcohol at 13.5%.
