Wild roadside blackberry aromas. Palate is all about fruit. Jammy black fruits and cherries. Pleasant introduction to Saperavi.

200 days fermenting in an Amphora. 24 months in oak. Bottled unfiltered. No wonder it is deep and inky in colour. Powerful blackberry, blackcurrant blueberry fruits. Dry, full bodied with huge tannins. Powerful wine one of a kind.

Redcurrant and a hint floral but driven by fruit. Sweet front palate, even slightly jammy. Lovely mouth coating tannins like they should be with Nebbiolo. A touch short on the finish but overall a good example.

Aromatically driven with bright cherries and blueberries. Dry medium bodied with a silky texture and more fruit, this time mulberries, black cherries and plums. Long fruit driven finish. Soft acid and tannin accentuate the fruits.

Spot on aromatics for Fiano. Honey, lemon pith and a touch of herbs. Creamy texture driven palate. Lemon curd flavours with a long finish. Good varietal example in what is proving to be a popular new variety.

Herbal lemon nose. Fresh, dry, lemony vibrant sparkling wine with high acidity. Attractive wine which hides the 8gms of residual sugar well.

Grown in the Vine Vale sub region of the Barossa t Grown in the Vine Vale sub region of the Barossa these 1896 vines, grown on alluvial granitic sandy soil, have produced a wine full of blueberries, black cherries, vanilla with a touch of graphite. Full bodied, yet restrained, the smooth seamless palate is primary fruit driven. Vine vale is more renowned for Grenache but when Shiraz takes the stage it’s elegant and refined. Well done Brett Grocke @eperosawine Rating is outstanding in the 7th edition Australian Wine Guide #barossavalley #barossawine #shiraz #southaustralia
