In this interview Peter discusses white Rhone grape varieties. Since 2000, Peter Fraser has been the winemaker at Yangarra Estate in McLaren Vale. He has gained recognition for his work with Grenache and Shiraz, but more recently has explored the Rhone grape varieties and using skin contact to add texture to his wines, whilst retaining their varietal identity. In this interview we explore his work with Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Clairette, Piquepoul and Bourboulenc. All the grapes that go into his excellent Ovitelli Blanc.
